Turning Into a Wedding Blog?

I love the line in Sister Act when, after the Nuns have crossed the street from the church and end up dancing to the music from a jukebox in a bar, a rough looking guy turns to the bartender and says, "If this turns into a nun's bar I ain't coming back."

I don't want you to think that this is turning into a wedding blog. There are enough of those out there. It's all about the doodles here.

But.... having said that... I do have a bunch of photos that this proud daddy would like to share that were taken by the photographer.

So here we go again...

Mrs. Warren

Our girls

The youngest - I think she likes this picture

A kiss just after I got to see her in the dressing room. The eyes were a little red at this point.

Mother putting the vale on her daughter. The photographer got quite a few photos of this. I like it.

The youngest again.

A kiss.
Where was I when this was going on?

In-laws and Out-laws. I'll let you decide which is which.

Waiting for the action to start.

The bride's maids acting goofy.
Charlie's Angles, in case you didn't recognize it.

Benjamin and his mother dancing.
His father passed away when he was young.

Throwing the bouquet.
Tarah doesn't like this photo, but her mother and I love it.

The old man has still got it! The life of the party.

More awh!!!

The middle one - more goofiness.

Mother and daughter. I married one of them, pert near 30 years ago.

Daddy and daughters. What are you goin' say? We're all happy people.

The girls thought this was dumb when the photographer was taking the photo, but now everyone says they really like the shot.

She looks absolutely stunning on her wedding day. And your other girls are beautiful! I know that I have many years until any of my three whack-jobs get married off, but just looking at these pics has got me wondering about the future! :)

Dang Rick... I didn't realize you live in a whole house full of estrogen. That must be why you are so nice. They've trained you well. I love the wedding photos and I especially like the one of your wife and daughter, and the one of you with all your girls. Just think... you are going to be an old hand at this walking them down the aisle by the time the third one makes the jump... or have you already started lobbying for elopement?

Thanks for sharing. As Laura said, "Sheesh, we are bloggy aunts and uncles" and we revel in your daughter's happiness and her father's occasional tear of pride.

And don't worry about the skunk. When I have you doodle my girls, you can put a little simple skunk in like you do with eggy. I loved the worm rodeo...

Expect me to stalk you often from now on. It is fun over here...

Loved everyone of them! My favorite is of you and the girls. I so wish we had one of those...maybe if #3 ever marries.

Thanks for sharing your family with us. Love the doodles, but enjoy getting to know you a bit, too.

awhhh that's so schweet! Your a good Dad. There isn't a more emotional moment for a Dad than a wedding of one of his daughters.
Thanks for sharing something about your family and yourself. You have a beautiful family, and lock that youngest in her room. Do you have a shotgun?

Posting about the people you love will leave a legacy that will outlive the flowers and perhaps be easier to find than the album.

BEAUTIFUL FAMILY...proud papa!

Aren't you the proud Dad! Your daughters are so lovely! Great wedding shots. I adore it when Dad's dance with their daughters at their wedding and when Mom's attach the wedding veil. Just a sucker for tradition, I guess.

Thanks for the kind words you left on my blog. Yes my profile picture does look mysterious, doesn't it? It's called Sea Sprite by Maxine Gadd. I love her mermaid prints, but this was my favorite. xxoo
