Steph contacted me about doing an illustration for her Father-In-Law's birthday. She said that he is a retired New York State trooper, and that she wanted an illustration which included all of his grandchildren. Since a law enforcement theme was in order I first thought of putting the kids on a chain gang with grandpa holding a shot gun or something. But we thought better of turning the kids into criminals. Rick, I love your work! Maybe I'll someday commission you to cartoon my clan. Course, my kids are quite the cartoonists themselves. So you'll have a lot of competition! ;)

To Tismee2: That's a good question Gail. I really don't know. I suppose I could go back over my blog and simply count the ones that I've posted on it. I still have a long list of request in my computer that I am working on. So, I guess the answer is "a lot."

I saw this on Steph's site and I loved it. You did a great job. I think it such a wonderful gift and fun idea. I love the whole cop with the gang theme.
