Family Practice - Be A Millionaire

It's been a while since I've posted an edition of Family Practice; my one attempt for cartoon syndication and fame.

Some children are destined for fame and others for fortune...

Family finances can be interesting. I can't remember the exact inspiration for this particular strip, but it seems that something similar actually happened in our house. I do remember that the other day we did get some money from our middle daughter for helping to repair her car, and then we turned around and gave a big portion of it right back for her birthday.

Does that make any sense to you?

I had something like that going on as a teenager. Mum had a list of what I owed her. When I left home she gave it to me and said I could now start paying her back!

Of course I didn't!

I do like your comic strips

shakes head... happens here ALL the time I am sure it is a slight of mind trick the kids pull cause they get all or more than they paid to begin with back before all is said and done!
UGGGG I may need to borrow that strip Rick!

thank you!!! I think my kids will appreciate it! and you are so right... when mama first died and even while we were in the hospital for 13 days with her prior to that...they all talked about how close we would all become and how things that had not been done would be now ect... and it has been so totally NOT it makes me sad but I am an outlaw so I have little choice as I would never choose the inlaws over my hubby.... But I digress... thanks for the use of the strip I will let you know when I post it :)

Oh yea Rick, sounds familiar! Only our child is turning into a little mizer... I ask what shes doing holed up in her rom sometimes and her answer is 'counting my money!'

Thanks for the comment on my blog, Rick! Yeah... I didn't say those shoes were gorgeous. :) LOL. But hey... if they get me fit in anyway possible... I'm in. :)

Love the comic... my daughter is so going to be this character when she gets a little older. She already works it! Ha. (And she's 2!)

You inspire me... makes me want to put up some of my drawings. I double majored in Graphic Design and Illustration way back when... but does my blog reflect that... NOPE. :P

I know... pitiful! Ha. It'll get there some day! Thanks for stopping by!

So this is what I got. "Grandma, I need some help fixing my prom dress. Can you take me to the fabric store?" Of course I did. Twenty five dollars and much sewing later, I got "Thanks Grandma, Dad will pay you for the fabric." Six months later, I am still waiting. Think I will get it? I do not think she even told her dad and I am not asking. Never again, until the next time.
Love your blog. Came through from It's My Crazy Life and I love it.

LOL! I'm so sorry you had to see that post! Ha. But hey... a girl's gotta write! LOL.

I'm working on getting some of my art up on the site. I'm not really finding any time for artsey stuff since having kids... but I really want to design my header and make this bloggy thing a bit more creative... so I'll keep you posted. :)

PS - thanks for the nagging... er... support. :)
