I've been posting so many caricatures lately. Here's something a little different. I drew this while I was in a meeting last week.
Image that scenario: I'm in a meeting with a group of us sitting around a table having a serious discussion. There's me in the middle, with my copy of the meeting's agenda flipped over, pen in hand, doodling away on the back.
I'm just not the serious meeting type.
There's no real explanation for this illustration. I just started doodling and this is what came out.
What do ya think?

I think I would have been afraid that if I was caught - someone would have thought I was drawing THEM! Not that I could draw anything that resembles a person. :)
Great drawing!
It looks like he has a question!! I like him.
Doesn't look anything like the doodles I ever did. All I ever have are a bunch of circles and squares! I like it.
Man, I thought for a second you had drawn a picture of a former supervisor of mine...then I read your post and realized I was WAY off. Hope you didn't have to contribute to the meeting at all...
I always wondered who did Dawn's illustration! (Guess I didn't scroll down far enough to find out!) Love this doodle - I work for a law firm, and while my talent isn't anywhere near yours, I often imagined drawing doodles such as this one.
Serious issues going on inside this guy! I love looking at your stuff. Doodles are always the best.
My doodles in meetings end up making everybody look like Christopher Walkin.
Even the women.
Love your doodle - I am sure that I have met someone who looks just like him! Its the way he's laying down the law!
raflol it looks just like my kids principal lol. All he need is a little bit of hair on his chin lol.
I think that if the speaker saw that, you could be toast! Usually, when I'm in a meeting, I am taking the minutes. Using a keyboard of some kind. You don't want to see my doodles, anyway!

Funny, this completely reminds me of the "blame game" that we routinely see at work. Shoot first, ask questions later. You nailed it! ;)
How DO you get away with it? Do you tell them it increases your listening skills? I can usually only get away with swirls and flowers around the edges.
To Tismee2: Actually, I don't know that I "get away with it." They very well might consider me to be less professional than they are, but I'm learning that this is just who I am and I might as well be happy with it.
I do know that I'm known as that guy that's always drawing stuff during meetings. AND, afterwards they all want to see what I've drawn.
I'm tagging you Rick...see my most recent post to follow through...I love what you've got up lately.
Huh...I think I've been in that meeting before. Several times, actually.
Are you sure that's not your boss?
Here from KellyJean's blog. I have enjoyed reading your blog and your drawings are awesome! I'll be visiting often.
I think I know that guy you shared today.....
I'm really glad I don't go to your meetings!
