Mom On The Go!

I'm at a con- ference at the mo- ment in Newport, OR. - sitting in a motel room looking at the great big Pacific Ocean. I don't have a lot of time, but I thought that I would throw up, or rather, on this doodle that I did not long ago.

So, this is yet another "Copy & Share If You Dare" doodle. Feel free to use it in your diabolical plans to take over the internet, or whatever. All I ask is a "heads up" when you do. I love seeing my work splashed all over the web.

NO longer a mom of a small one, my son is now 36 -- my pace is much slower now --- but the doodle does do my younger co-workers justice, just as it is. A great reminder to take time to BE STILL....and make a doodle..or be a noodle :)

Been there, done that. About to do it all over again, with a 3 year old in tow.

I am, in fact, Lexie's mom whose blog you "stumbled upon". We recently got the doodle and she LOVES it. (We all do.) I just need to get the right frame to hang it in a place of honor.

Awesome job!

Hey there Rick!

I lived up in Oregon for 16 years. All over the Portland area, and then over in Central Oregon (Bend). I left two years ago to come back to my home state of AZ. But I do miss a lot of what Oregon had to offer in terms of the lifestyle I enjoy. I owned a fishing resort up there.

Someday I'm going to have you create a 'doodle' of me!

To Dee: Wow, this blog could turn into a produce/cartoon exchange here. How much okra are we talking about Dee?

Reddirt Woman said...

Rick, you may have your fill of okra before this season's crop is done!! We've had company all week and pretty much decimated our crop. Great fun post on WWOW on the campaign trail. Good luck with whipping Sock Monkey into line.

I know so many moms that would related to your doodle. That's another reason I don't have kids... I don't move that fast.

Have a good day and enjoy Newport as well as Hallie campaigning!

Rick, you were in the running for the winner of my movie line contest, and you were tied with one other entrie for 15 right, but alas someone has gotten them all right. Great job though!

I live near a farmer's market AND a UPS office. How much okra would get me a spiffy blog banner?! Let's make a deal!

That picture is nuts--funny nuts. These are just doodles?! Pretty good ones.

Good luck with the wedding.

I have added you to my blog list. Just read your post from Hallie at WWW. I almost peed my pants when you described the animal that your daughter resembled as she was doing her "thing". Dear me...that was funny.

Anyhoo, I am a new blogger (since April 2008) and am happy to add you to my daily reads!

Thanks for the good laugh!
