do you do any kind of drawing or just cartoon types?

In response to Peach: By "any kind of drawing" I assume you mean illustrations of a more serious character. The answer is yes. I have done some serious illustrations, and logos for people, and stuff. I enjoy doing and looking at pen and ink work. Occasionally I have done portraits of people of a serious nature, but nothing for hire. I have a few examples of that kind of work laying around and have thought about posting some of them. But, for a while now, I've realized that my first love is cartooning. It's just what I do.

It amuses me when people, whose work I really admire, are impressed with my cartoons. They're saying, "I wish that I could do that." And I'm saying the same thing back to them.

Stay "tooned" in and I'll see what I can come up with.

LOL! Stay 'tooned'! I love it!

Thanks for the visit! You're an awesome 'doodler' (or toonist, whichever you prefer)...

I may ask for something soon. Until then I think I'll just pop over occasionally for a visit. :) Thanks for entertaining me!

Did you read Mad Magazine as a kid? Some of your drawings remind me of that. Very cool.

To Bettejo: Did I read Mad Magazine? Only when I could sneak it by my parents.

Actually, that's not entirely true, and yes I was "inspired" by the cartoons in that nobel periodical

Thanks for visiting my blog, though I wonder how you got there...The things I make are nothing like your drawings, though they are real good...Not my style, but hey, I can't draw so...I can do aquarel paintings but still...
I think I will pop over to your blog now and then..xxx Wendy.

I love your drawings! In fact, I've tagged you on my blog. Come on over and find out the details!

Thanks Rick! You know, I did see the post where you were tagged because I remember the picture of your fabulous view! I am new to all the blogging stuff and tagging and all that. And I was raised by a very proper mother! Something about the anonymity of the internet has brought the beast out in me. I'll be back.

That's so funny, the person in the top corner reminds me of one of our past primeministers....Mrs Thatcher!
