Airplane Art - 50 Gal. Hat

This is another bit of my airplane art.

Just in case you're new to my blog, I have a habit of taking an art pad and doodling when I travel by air. There are a number of previous examples of my airplane art that I've posted on this blog. It's not that I travel a lot - it's just that I draw really, really fast.

I have, on ocassion, given away some of my doodles to people who express an interest in what I am drawing. On one flight, I gave a Flight Attendant one of my sketches and she, in turn, offered me a drink. I took her up on it - a Dr. Pepper, of course.

If you happend to be flying somewhere and you end up sitting next to some guy that is drawing silly cartoons, go ahead and say hello... because it probably won't be me.

Your drawings are awesome! But I guess you heard that already? Ever considered designing a rubber stamp-line? I would buy some for sure!

I think your drawings are wonderful. I saw the first one on Dawn's blog (and like the good snooper I am, followed you here).

This blogging thing is so very cool. I find a blog I like, follow their links to other blogs I like......

I have two daughters, I feel your pain! Allen doesn't worry about not having son's, my littlest daughter is a tomboy!

Congrats on being Dawn's first comment and not gloating about it. And 4th comment, too =D
Loved the Christmas present cartoon. Very funny. We have the good fortune of 3 boys for my DH to get mechanical, exploding, and ewww kinds of kits for, and one breath-of-fresh-air dd to get all the fun lip gloss and nail polish and stuff for.
And (usually) I wouldn't trade any of 'em!

Hi Rick! Thanks for the comment on the apron, too bad it's not your color, it would look good on you. I love the charicatures (sp?). I had one done in high school but was really sad when I saw it. It made my big nose look gigantic! I guess the artist did his job well, but it was rough on a self-conscious sixteen year old. I can handle it now, though.
Love your art. It amazes me that you can do that.

Thanks for the shout out on my site- am enjoying your drawings here- very much like the drawings of my cartoonist pal whom I met in Austria. He has worked for Disney since then, and did the Atomic Betty cartoon. Great talents you guys have and always fun to have a pal who can dash off a pen tattoo on your ankle before a night out in Interlaken.
