Oregon Tan

If you live just about any- where in the north- west, or some place that is particularly wet, you'll appreciate this one. It's an old joke, but one that I've not seen illustrated before.

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure this particular cartoon is "eggless." To tell you the truth, I drew it so long ago that I forget.

Feel free to copy and share with your friends and relatives that do live where people rust.

I am super fair (should say super white) and freckly. When I was in high school I slathered myself with baby oil and baked in the sun for hours. My thinking was that I could get all my freckles to meld together and then be tan. It did not work. I spent the next couple of years slathering on porcelaina trying to get rid of the freckles.

That is cool, and I will use it on me blog at some stage, thanks!

We could use this one here - although it's way too cold to even consider lying half naked!

Today looks promising for a spot of garedning though!

That is funny!! Rust, :)!! I have to admit that my arms a tan, but my legs on the other hand to seem to see the sun as much as my arms! Spring here is about 85 degrees and blazing hot with killer humidity! Nice huh? Not really!

I sent this to my sister in law's parents, who moved to Oregon last year - I'm sure they'll get a laugh, especially since prior to moving they lived in Los Angeles...I imagine they're still not used to rain!!

Two egg men in one pic? A new trend?

To Jim in the Hood River:By diggity! You're right. Apparently I didn't even remember that I already drew one in when I was drawing the toon in the first place!

I hate it when you're right.

You're not used to it by now? I'm shocked!
